Action/Event Recognition
In computer vision, action recognition refers to the act of classifying an action that is present in a given video. This task becomes more challenging in real-world videos, especially in the surveillance domain, where multiple persons act at the same time. In this case, the aim of action recognition is to identify the various actions performed by each person simultaneously and to combine this information in a higher level, enabling the event recognition task.
