VCL to Participate in Three CVPR 2020 Workshops

 

Papers from three different teams within the Visual Computing Lab (VCL) have been accepted for publication at CVPR 2020 workshops:

> Deep Lighting Environment Map Estimation from Spherical Panoramas, authored by V. Gkitsas, N. Zioulis, F. Alvarez, D. Zarpalas, P. Daras has been accepted to the Omnidirectional Computer Vision workshop.

> Neural Network Compression Using Higher-Order Statistics and Auxiliary Reconstruction Losses, authored by C. Chatzikonstantinou, G. Papadopoulos, K. Dimitropoulos, P. Daras has been accepted to the Joint Workshop on Efficient Deep Learning in Computer Vision.

> Cross-modal Variational Alignment of Latent Spaces, authored by T. Theodoridis, T. Chatzis, V. Solachidis, K. Dimitropoulos, P. Daras has been accepted to the Workshop on Multimodal Learning.

Visual Computing Lab

The focus of the Visual Computing Laboratory is to develop new algorithms and architectures for applications in the areas of 3D processing, image/video processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, bioinformatics and medical imaging.
