Maria Chatzigiannidou, after five years of study at the University of the Aegean, she received her Diploma from the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering in October 2022. The subject of her Diplomatic Thesis was related to the Enhancement of the "PriS (Privacy Safeguard)" Methodology based on the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Subsequently she worked for 1 year and 6 months in the private sector, taking the role of Software Consultant at a company engaged in the field of Computerization and Software. Since August 2024, she has held the position of Research Associate at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). Her research interests focus on Business and Data Analysis, Social Networks, UI/UX design,Privacy and Security Issues as well as Management of Information Systems.
