Semantic wikis have been widely adopted to support a variety of collaborative activities within the health domain. In this paper, relevant existing tools that may be taken into account for the development of a Wiki-based tool are revisited. The paper then proposes a collaborative Wiki-based tool to be used for semantic management and classification of unstructured and semi-structured medical interventions spread across the Web. The architecture of the tool and its functionality are described in the light of some evidence and a discussion on how this tool may become useful in the semantic Web description of elderly care interventions in the ageing society.
